Bernard Schopfer is the founder and director of MaxComm Communication, a Geneva based agency that focuses among others in competitive sailing.
MaxComm manages and owns the Yacht Racing Forum and the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award. The agency manages communication for Switzerland’s most prestigious regattas including the Bol d’Or Mirabaud and the Syz Translémanique en Solitaire. It is Swiss Sailing Team’s official communication agency and accompanies Swiss athletes to the Olympic Games.
Bernard Schopfer has a degree in Political Science from the University of Geneva and has worked as a journalist in various media (Swiss TV RTS, Le Nouveau Quotidien, Le Matin, etc.). He has covered numerous Olympic Games and world championships. He managed Team Alinghis’ communications (2000 - 2005), Ericsson Racing Team (2007-08), the RC 44 Championship Tour (2007 - 2011) and many more events.
Eike Schurr
Description
Eike Schurr, 32, is a photographer and videographer from Germany. Specialized in flying drones in the sailing industry, he's experienced in live TV-productions, as well as highlight or image campaigns. In addition Eike is part of the Austrian Ocean Race Project as an OBR and works for smaller campaigns as a teams media representative, being in charge for visual communications.
