The Yachting Journalists’ Association (YJA) is excited to announce that voting is now open for the 2024 YJA Young Journalist of the Year Award.

This prestigious award recognizes and celebrates the outstanding contributions of young journalists within the yachting and marine industry.

YJA members are encouraged to cast their votes and support the next generation of talented storytellers who are shaping the future of marine journalism.

The shortlisted nominees for the 2024 award are:

  • Kaia Bint Savage
  • Anne de Kerviller
  • Annie Means
  • Jack Gore

These young journalists have demonstrated exceptional skill, creativity, and dedication in their work, making significant impacts in the yachting and marine industry. Their submissions, which include written articles, photography, and video content, highlight their unique perspectives and commitment to telling the stories of our vibrant community.

YJA members now have the opportunity to vote for the young journalist who they believe has made the most significant contribution to the field in 2024.

This is an important moment for our association to showcase and promote the next generation of marine industry journalists, ensuring that their voices continue to be heard and their work recognized.

The voting process is simple. To view the submissions and cast your vote, please visit the YJA website here. Voting will remain open until 9pm on Friday 6th September, and the winner will be announced at the upcoming Southampton International Boat Show on Sunday 15th September at 11:45 on the Foredeck Stage.
